THE UPCOMING CONFERENCES:
The Leadership Development Committee would like to announce the following opportunities for learning and fellowship with other Unitarian Universalists in the Southwestern district this winter. Visit www.swuuc.org for more information on these and other conferences.
The Winter Conference for religious professionals and volunteers, “Finding Spirituality in Leadership” will be held Feb. 12 – 14, 2010 at the Marriott Dallas/Ft. Worth. Featured speaker Reverend Hallman will speak on how faith is developed in children, youth and adults.
The Southwest UU Women’s Conference 2010 theme will be “In the Name of Love.” Join the group in Dallas Texas, Friday, February 26 through Sunday, February 28 for this always inspiring event. The UUA Moderator will be Gina Courter and music will be provided by Amy Carol Webb.
Some scholarship funds are available for travel and program registration for UU conferences from the Leadership Development Committee. Applications can be found on the bulletin board, or on the UUFF website. Please submit scholarship applications to the Leadership Development Committee well in advance of the program registration deadline. See the application for further instruction.
