UUFF Activities Weekend of February 21, 2010

February 20th, 2010 · No Comments · Events, Services & Sermons

The 2010 UUFF Directories have arrived!!
For the next two Sundays the Membership Committee will be handing out the picture directories after church so come get yours. We know you will find these very helpful as you connect with other church members and friends. A special thanks to Angela Peace who allowed us to use two of her beautiful photographs of the Ozarks on the front and back covers. Soon there will be an on line version of the directory with updates and corrections.  We will give you that information as soon as possible. Please enjoy and USE this wonderful resource.

Sermon Topic
Rev. Dave Hunter’s topic this Sunday is “Grace, Amazing Grace.” This could be about his grandmother, Grace Davis Hunter, but it’s not.  This is a WABIS service. The RE class on the Stewardship of Water will meet as soon as the kids go downstairs.

We hope to see everyone at the Stewardship Kick-off potluck dinner next Friday, February 26th, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Fellowship Hall.  Please let us know if you plan to attend so we will know how many tables and chairs to set up.  If you need childcare (with dinner provided), you must reserve by today at 3pm through the office (521-8422 or uuff@sbcglobal.net) or contact Joy Berry directly at uuffdre@yahoo.com.

Our annual pledge drive begins soon and we are offering two training sessions for Visiting Stewards (Canvassers):  The first is Sunday, February 21 from 1 to 2:30pm and the second is Wednesday, February 24 from 6 to 7:30pm.  (One session is all you need!) Please contact Jim Longino at jimlongino@usa.net for more information.
